You have not lost yourself.
You just buried her under
everything you had to become.

There is a version of you that existed before the titles, before the responsibilities, before you learned to hold everyone else together. She is not gone. She is just very, very tired of waiting.

You have probably tried a lot of things. Therapy. A new workout routine. A week off that didn't feel like a week off. Another goal to chase. And yet — the exhaustion is structural. It lives in your nervous system, not just your calendar. You cannot hustle your way out of a dysregulated body. You have to slow down enough to come home to it.

Still & Sovereign is ten days built specifically for that return. Not a retreat you observe. A retreat that holds you while you do the work of remembering who you actually are — somewhere warm, somewhere unhurried, in Thailand — through daily Pilates, sacred sisterhood, real joy, and the kind of stillness that most ambitious women have never been given permission to inhabit.

You will move. You will eat food you helped cook. You will sit in a circle of women who know exactly what it costs to keep performing. You will float in the sea. You will laugh more than you expect to. You will be assessed and given a practice written specifically for your body. And somewhere in the middle of all of it — usually quietly, usually unexpectedly — you will remember her.

Women sharing a candid joyful moment during the Still and Sovereign retreat

This retreat was made for you
if you recognize yourself here

  • You are high-functioning and privately exhausted. You show up, you deliver, you hold it together — and somewhere along the way you stopped asking whether any of it was actually for you.
  • Something recently shifted. A relationship ended, a chapter closed, a birthday passed, a promotion landed and felt hollow. You are in a threshold moment and you can feel it.
  • You have been meaning to slow down for two years. Life keeps not allowing it. You are ready to decide that your body is the priority, not the obstacle.
  • You know about Pilates, you may even practice — but you have never experienced it as nervous system medicine. You have never been given a practice written entirely for your body. You are curious what that changes.
  • You crave real community with women who are serious about their growth but done performing it. No surface-level sisterhood. No toxic positivity. Just honest, held space with women who get the specific weight of ambition.
  • You want joy back. Not performed positivity — actual lightness, laughter, freedom in your body. You've been so busy holding everything together that you forgot fun was allowed too.
  • You would go to Thailand for yourself, but you wouldn't go alone. This container makes it possible.
Women connecting during the Homecoming Pilates retreat

This retreat is not for women who aren't willing to be emotionally present, or who need their fitness level to be advanced before they can participate. (Don't worry — there's real joy, laughter, and freedom built into every day too. Balance is the whole design.) All Pilates sessions are taught at a pace that meets every body. The only requirement is willingness.

What you walk out with

Ten days is not a vacation. Ten days — structured the way these ten days are structured — is a re-patterning. Here is what that actually looks like:

The transformation and what you walk out with

Your body back

A private movement assessment. A Pilates practice written for your specific nervous system, posture, and patterns — not a template, not a class format, yours. Daily movement that builds and restores in equal measure. You leave knowing how to maintain this at home.

Your system regulated

Most high-achieving women spend years in sympathetic overdrive — fight, flight, freeze dressed up as productivity. Ten days of intentional sequencing — morning practice, restorative evenings, spa immersion, sea time — begins to genuinely recalibrate that. You feel the difference in your body before the retreat ends.

A circle that holds

Ten to twelve women, carefully chosen, held in a container that asks for honesty and reciprocates it. The sister circles are not optional extras — they are the heart of the retreat. Many women leave with friendships that matter for years. You will not feel alone in what you are carrying.

Yourself, again

This one is harder to describe. It is the moment — usually quiet, usually unexpected — when you remember who you were before you became so useful to everyone else. She did not go anywhere. She just needed ten days in Thailand with women who could help her come home.

Thailand is not the backdrop.
It is the prescription.

Thailand retreat destination

Thailand moves at a pace that immediately begins to quiet the kind of urgency that ambitious women carry in their bodies without knowing it. Depending on the season, your retreat unfolds across some combination of the country's most restorative corners — Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai. The exact cities are part of what you'll choose when you pick your dates.

Warm seas, market mornings, mountain air, golden light — these are not amenities. They are part of the therapeutic design of every retreat we run, wherever in Thailand it lands.

And it is not all stillness. There is real joy built into every cohort — laughter at dinner, dancing if the mood strikes, the kind of lightness that comes when ambitious women finally let themselves play. Balance is the whole point, not just rest.

Boutique stays

Thoughtfully chosen accommodations with the space and quiet a nervous system reset requires. Always private, always restorative.

Dry season timing

Every retreat is scheduled within Thailand's dry season — warm, clear, calm seas, before peak-season crowds arrive.

Islands that heal

Wherever you land, the surrounding islands and coastline are part of the experience — places that do not look real and feel even better.

Why this Pilates practice is different

Most Pilates is taught as a fitness modality. This is taught as nervous system medicine. There is a difference — in the pacing, in the breathwork, in what gets prioritized and what gets left out.

The body keeps score. For women who have spent years in high-performance mode — high cortisol, shallow breath, chronically braced core, disconnected from sensation — the standard Pilates class is just another performance. Another thing to be good at. Another mirror to critique yourself in.

Here, the mat is a place of inquiry, not execution. The morning sessions build strength and presence simultaneously. The evening sessions unwind what the day asked of you. The reformer sessions go into the deeper proprioceptive work. The private assessment session is yours alone — thirty minutes with your host to understand the specific story your body is telling and build a practice around it.

You do not need Pilates experience. You do not need a particular body. You need willingness, and Maya will meet you precisely where you are.

Nervous System Wellness

Every class, every rest window, every spa day is sequenced to move your body out of chronic sympathetic activation. This is the foundation of everything else.

Soft Power

Strength practiced from ease, not performance. You will leave stronger and more mobile — and you will feel entirely different about how you got there.

Cultural Safety

This container was designed to hold women who have often been the only one in the room. You do not need to code-switch here. Homecoming means all of you gets to come.

Expansion

You do not leave the same size you arrived. Not because you worked out — because you remembered how much space you are actually allowed to take up.

Joy & Freedom

Rest and play are not opposites here. Laughter, dancing, real fun — they're as much a part of the design as the stillness is. Balance, not just recovery.

Ten days. Here is how they feel.

Not a schedule — a sequence. Each day builds on the last. Every retreat moves through two phases: City, then Beach. Which cities depends on the dates you choose.

Ten days in the Homecoming Pilates Thailand retreat
01
City
Arrival · First Breath · Opening Circle
You land, you settle, you meet the women you will go through something real with. The opening sister circle happens this evening — an intentional beginning, not just a welcome dinner. Light restorative flow. Your nervous system starts to exhale.

02
City
The Market · The Kitchen · The Mat
Morning Pilates. Then: you go to the market together — a sensory recalibration before the cooking class, where you make the food you eat. The ritual of preparing your own nourishment is not incidental. It is part of the practice.

03
City
Reformer · Spa · Stillness
The first reformer session — a full private studio buyout. In the afternoon, a local spa holds you for two hours. This is the first time many women in this group have received without planning what to do next. Let that land.

City → Beach · The Coast Arrives
Morning practice, then you travel to the coast together. The moment the ocean air hits you, something in your body shifts. Your stay is waiting. The pool is cold. The sea is close. The second chapter begins.

Ground · Float · Island Hop
Two days of deepening. Daily mat Pilates. Semi-private sessions begin — small groups built around shared body patterns. One full day: your private boat charter to nearby islands. Snorkel, float, sit in silence with your face in the sun.

The second reformer session. A coastal spa day — two hours in a setting that makes the first spa day feel like a warm-up. By now the group has shed something. The circles are different. The silence is comfortable. The movement is deeper.

The final morning practice is intentional — a closing sequence that moves through everything you've practiced. The closing sister circle. The celebration dinner. The morning of departure: quiet, unhurried, knowing. You leave different from how you arrived.

Maya, founder of Homecoming Pilates
Your host

Maya
Founder, Homecoming Pilates

"I built this because I needed it and it didn't exist. A space where ambitious women — and specifically women who look like us — could stop performing wellness and actually practice it."

Maya is the founder of Homecoming Pilates, a Houston-based wellness brand whose work centers on nervous system-oriented Pilates for women who have been high-achieving at a cost they can no longer ignore. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that the body is not a project to optimize — it is a home to return to.

She created Still & Sovereign because she believes that the most powerful thing an ambitious woman can do is get still enough to remember who she actually is. Not who she became. Not who she performs. Who she is.

She splits her time across Thailand during the retreat season. This is not a hosted trip from a stranger. This is a country she knows and loves, and she is inviting you into it.

Two ways to come home.

10–12 women per cohort, intentionally small. Spots are limited and fill from the priority list first.

Questions she usually asks

No. All sessions are taught to meet every body in the room. What you need is not a particular fitness level — it is willingness to move and be present. Maya will assess your body on day one and build your practice from there. Women who have never done Pilates before and women with years of practice have both had profound experiences in this container.
Yes, and you will not technically be alone — the group travels together between the city and beach phases. The retreat handles all in-country transportation once you land. You book your own international flight to the arrival city and we coordinate the rest. Many women in this container have used this retreat as their first solo international experience. It is a gentle entry point — you are held from the moment you arrive.
The sister circles are facilitated group sessions — opening on day one and closing on day nine — that create an intentional container for honest conversation, shared intention, and witnessed transformation. They are not therapy, they are not group coaching, and they are not compulsory vulnerability exercises. They are structured enough to feel safe and open enough to feel real. Many women describe them as the most significant part of the retreat.
This is the most common thing women say before they book. If 10 days genuinely isn't possible right now, The Exhale is our 7-day version of this same retreat — a deep breath before the whole transformation. But if you can find the 10 days: the honest answer is, if not now, when? The nervous system reset that makes Still & Sovereign transformative takes time. Productivity culture will always have a reason for you not to go. Your body is asking you to go anyway.
Private accommodation is included at every price point — your own room, every night. The exact stays depend on which dates and cities you choose, but every accommodation is boutique, comfortable, and chosen for the quiet a nervous system reset requires.
If we determine your dates aren't the right fit during our 2–3 business day confirmation window, your $800 deposit is fully refunded. Once confirmed, the deposit is non-refundable, as it's used immediately to secure vendor commitments. Full payments made more than 90 days before the retreat are eligible for a 50% refund. Within 90 days, no refunds are issued but your spot may be transferred to another woman. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Still & Sovereign is open to all women. It is, however, intentionally designed with cultural safety as a foundational pillar — which means the container is built to center the comfort and wholeness of women of color, and specifically Black women, who have historically had to shrink or code-switch in wellness spaces. If that context feels important to you — whether because you are a woman of color or because you want to be in a space that holds that value — you are in the right place.
A joyful Homecoming Pilates retreat moment

She has been waiting
for you to choose her.

The version of you who knows how to be still. Who doesn't need to earn her rest. Who remembers that her body is not a problem to manage — it is a home to return to. Ten days in Thailand will not fix everything. But it will remind you of something you've been forgetting for a very long time.

I'm ready. Secure my spot.

Come home to your body. — Homecoming Pilates
