This July, we’re bringing free Pilates to the lawn at Waterwall Park. Two rhythms to choose from: bright Saturday mornings to start your weekend grounded, and golden-hour Thursday evenings to put the week down.

Come once. Come weekly. Join however you need to. Every session stands on its own, and every level is welcome — whether you’ve practiced for years or you’re unrolling a mat for the very first time.

Ground

A different kind of independence this Fourth — take an hour for yourself before the cookouts start. We kick off with the basics: breath, posture, alignment, and core. The foundation everything else builds on, and a solid place to start if you’re new or getting back into it.

Build

Week two, we add some strength. Core work, standing balance, and controlled movement — building heat without it ever feeling like a grind. Steady beats hard.

Flow

This week the movements start linking together. We go from individual exercises into flowing sequences — more rhythm, more coordination, the part where Pilates starts to feel really good.

The last session. A full-body flow that pulls together everything from the month, with a little extra room to breathe at the end. Strong, but generous — a good way to close out a month of showing up.

Put the week down. As the sun drops, we move through gentle mobility for the spine, hips, and shoulders — all the spots that hold onto stress and desk time. Slower pace, longer exhales, soft light.

This one’s about making space. Hip and chest opening, spinal mobility — undoing the scrunch of sitting all day so you can truly breathe again. Ease and release, timed with the sunset.

Official rules & fine print

How to enter: Attend a Flourish Summer Series session at Waterwall Park and share it publicly on Instagram or TikTok. To count, your post must be public (so we can see it), tag @homecomingpilates, and include #FlourishAtWaterwall. Each qualifying tagged post = one entry. Posting the same session on both platforms counts as one entry, not two — entries are based on sessions attended.

To qualify: You need at least two qualifying tagged posts from two different sessions. After that, every additional tagged session adds another entry. With 7 sessions in July, you can earn up to 7 entries.

Eligibility: Open to participants 18 and older. Winner must be able to pick up the reformer locally in the Houston area — we don’t ship. One prize, one winner.

Winner selection: After the final session on July 25, all qualifying entries are gathered and one winner is selected at random, then contacted via the account they tagged from and announced on @homecomingpilates. If we can’t reach the winner within 5 days, we draw again.

Your own mat, water, and a towel. Sunscreen for mornings is a good idea — the lawn gets bright.

Nearby garages, street parking, and Galleria parking are all close. Give yourself a few extra minutes.

Outdoor event — if the weather forces a change, we’ll email everyone who reserved.
