10 Days to Shed the Roles and Remember Yourself
You have not lost yourself.
You just buried her under
everything you had to become.
There is a version of you that existed before the titles, before the responsibilities, before you learned to hold everyone else together. She is not gone. She is just very, very tired of waiting.
You have probably tried a lot of things. Therapy. A new workout routine. A week off that didn't feel like a week off. Another goal to chase. And yet — the exhaustion is structural. It lives in your nervous system, not just your calendar. You cannot hustle your way out of a dysregulated body. You have to slow down enough to come home to it.
Still & Sovereign is ten days built specifically for that return. Not a retreat you observe. A retreat that holds you while you do the work of remembering who you actually are — somewhere warm, somewhere unhurried, in Thailand — through daily Pilates, sacred sisterhood, real joy, and the kind of stillness that most ambitious women have never been given permission to inhabit.
You will move. You will eat food you helped cook. You will sit in a circle of women who know exactly what it costs to keep performing. You will float in the sea. You will laugh more than you expect to. You will be assessed and given a practice written specifically for your body. And somewhere in the middle of all of it — usually quietly, usually unexpectedly — you will remember her.

This retreat is not for women who aren't willing to be emotionally present, or who need their fitness level to be advanced before they can participate. (Don't worry — there's real joy, laughter, and freedom built into every day too. Balance is the whole design.) All Pilates sessions are taught at a pace that meets every body. The only requirement is willingness.
Ten days is not a vacation. Ten days — structured the way these ten days are structured — is a re-patterning. Here is what that actually looks like:

A private movement assessment. A Pilates practice written for your specific nervous system, posture, and patterns — not a template, not a class format, yours. Daily movement that builds and restores in equal measure. You leave knowing how to maintain this at home.
Most high-achieving women spend years in sympathetic overdrive — fight, flight, freeze dressed up as productivity. Ten days of intentional sequencing — morning practice, restorative evenings, spa immersion, sea time — begins to genuinely recalibrate that. You feel the difference in your body before the retreat ends.
Ten to twelve women, carefully chosen, held in a container that asks for honesty and reciprocates it. The sister circles are not optional extras — they are the heart of the retreat. Many women leave with friendships that matter for years. You will not feel alone in what you are carrying.
This one is harder to describe. It is the moment — usually quiet, usually unexpected — when you remember who you were before you became so useful to everyone else. She did not go anywhere. She just needed ten days in Thailand with women who could help her come home.

Thailand moves at a pace that immediately begins to quiet the kind of urgency that ambitious women carry in their bodies without knowing it. Depending on the season, your retreat unfolds across some combination of the country's most restorative corners — Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok, Chiang Mai. The exact cities are part of what you'll choose when you pick your dates.
Warm seas, market mornings, mountain air, golden light — these are not amenities. They are part of the therapeutic design of every retreat we run, wherever in Thailand it lands.
And it is not all stillness. There is real joy built into every cohort — laughter at dinner, dancing if the mood strikes, the kind of lightness that comes when ambitious women finally let themselves play. Balance is the whole point, not just rest.
Thoughtfully chosen accommodations with the space and quiet a nervous system reset requires. Always private, always restorative.
Every retreat is scheduled within Thailand's dry season — warm, clear, calm seas, before peak-season crowds arrive.
Wherever you land, the surrounding islands and coastline are part of the experience — places that do not look real and feel even better.
Most Pilates is taught as a fitness modality. This is taught as nervous system medicine. There is a difference — in the pacing, in the breathwork, in what gets prioritized and what gets left out.
The body keeps score. For women who have spent years in high-performance mode — high cortisol, shallow breath, chronically braced core, disconnected from sensation — the standard Pilates class is just another performance. Another thing to be good at. Another mirror to critique yourself in.
Here, the mat is a place of inquiry, not execution. The morning sessions build strength and presence simultaneously. The evening sessions unwind what the day asked of you. The reformer sessions go into the deeper proprioceptive work. The private assessment session is yours alone — thirty minutes with your host to understand the specific story your body is telling and build a practice around it.
You do not need Pilates experience. You do not need a particular body. You need willingness, and Maya will meet you precisely where you are.
Every class, every rest window, every spa day is sequenced to move your body out of chronic sympathetic activation. This is the foundation of everything else.
Strength practiced from ease, not performance. You will leave stronger and more mobile — and you will feel entirely different about how you got there.
This container was designed to hold women who have often been the only one in the room. You do not need to code-switch here. Homecoming means all of you gets to come.
You do not leave the same size you arrived. Not because you worked out — because you remembered how much space you are actually allowed to take up.
Rest and play are not opposites here. Laughter, dancing, real fun — they're as much a part of the design as the stillness is. Balance, not just recovery.
Not a schedule — a sequence. Each day builds on the last. Every retreat moves through two phases: City, then Beach. Which cities depends on the dates you choose.

Maya is the founder of Homecoming Pilates, a Houston-based wellness brand whose work centers on nervous system-oriented Pilates for women who have been high-achieving at a cost they can no longer ignore. Her teaching is rooted in the belief that the body is not a project to optimize — it is a home to return to.
She created Still & Sovereign because she believes that the most powerful thing an ambitious woman can do is get still enough to remember who she actually is. Not who she became. Not who she performs. Who she is.
She splits her time across Thailand during the retreat season. This is not a hosted trip from a stranger. This is a country she knows and loves, and she is inviting you into it.
10–12 women per cohort, intentionally small. Spots are limited and fill from the priority list first.
The full arc. Soften, strengthen, expand, integrate, return changed.
A deep breath before the whole transformation.

The version of you who knows how to be still. Who doesn't need to earn her rest. Who remembers that her body is not a problem to manage — it is a home to return to. Ten days in Thailand will not fix everything. But it will remind you of something you've been forgetting for a very long time.
